Οι προπονητές δεν θέλουν να ληφθούν μέτρα εναντίον των παικτών καθώς θέλουν πλήρη εστίαση στους επερχόμενους διεθνείς αγώνες του Πακιστάν.
Pakistan cricket team head coaches Gary Kirsten and Jason Gillespie have reportedly advised the PCB to not take disciplinary action against players. A couple of days earlier, reports claimed that a committee will be set up by PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi to review the reports submitted on the discipline of players. However, a recent report claims that the coaches have asked the PCB to not take any harsh steps at the moment.
No disciplinary action against Pakistan stars?
As per a PTI source, the coaches don’t want action taken against the players as they want full concentration for Pakistan’s upcoming international schedule. Additionally, they batted for dropping few underperforming players instead.
The PCB has been advised to prioritise performances while the coaches & selectors have taken the responsibility of managing the workload and rest period of the players.
The decision was taken after PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had thorough discussions with the head coaches Jason Gillespie and Gary Kirsten, as well as selectors Mohammad Yousuf and Asad Shafiq.
Reports on Babar Azam & co
Three reports that were to be reviewed were compiled by the head coach, the team manager and an independent intelligence agency. The committee was to reportedly be headed by a former captain and was to inform the players of its decision once it finishes examining the reports.
However, that might not be the case anymore. As per a PTI source, no such committee has been formed.
