Arshad Nadeem powered his way to clinch the gold at the Paris Olympics. The Pakistani javelin star broke two Olympic records to register a throw of 92.97 m which was enough to earn him the coveted medal. After his win, Arshad claimed that he was in rhythm and knew that he could throw powerful throws.
The only person who could come close to Arshad was India’s Neeraj Chopra. The Indian star finished second and settled for the silver medal with his best throw of 89.45 m.

“Today was my day. I was in rhythm and knew I could throw even further,” Arshad Nadeem said after winning the gold medal at Paris Olympics.
It has been 8 years since both the stars have been fighting against each other. And for the first time, the Pakistani star reigned supreme over his Indian counterpart. Nadeem was decent in the qualifying round a couple of days back. On the other hand, Neeraj was on fire easily breaking the 89 m mark.
But on the day of the finals, Arshad found his rhythm and groove while the others struggled. Eventually in the end, Pakistan got their gold medal which they so dearly hoped for at the Paris Olympics.
